A tranquil bubble in the bustle of the city – Motel 1, Brussels

When we first started planning our summer getaway to Europe our main intention was to visit Amsterdam. However, when we found relatively cheap tickets to Paris we decided to fly there instead and make our way up to the Netherlands. Belgium was meant to be nothing more than a pit stop on the way to our final destination. But this little gem sandwiched between Western European behemoths like Germany and France took us completely by surprise.

Green Mubazzarah Chalets – Al Ain

For the longest time now a group of us girls have been planning a Ladies Night. What started off as a Girls Only barbecue (You know how much we love our barbecue here in the UAE) quickly snowballed into an overnight stay at a resort where we wound up celebrating a bachelorette and not one but TWO birthdays! Let’s just say it was a night packed with scandalous events and what happened at Ladies Night will stay at Ladies Night!

Waking up in the mountains

Did I mention I have a weakness for sunrises? The next morning I was up early to catch the sunrise on the ridge of the mountains (And yes, I nearly lost feeling in my fingers because of the cold). While the rest of my party slumbered on I grabbed the camera and headed out for some commune-with-nature time.
