Today’s post is about Cho Gao – an Asian fusion restaurant housed in the Crowne Plaza, Abu Dhabi. Showcasing Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and Indonesian dishes, Cho Gao will take you on a tantalizing taste-bud tour of the very best of South East Asia.
We have dined here a few times as a couple as well as with friends and family and every single time we walk away wondering why we don’t eat here more often. It is one of those Abu Dhabi gems that have stood the test of time by consistently serving up classic favorites.
Come Ramadan and hotels around the city lay out their best in the form of Iftar spreads for their clientele. This past week the Hubster and I were invited to attend the Iftar hosted by Arabesque at Danat Al Ain Resort.
Last weekend we had the opportunity to try out the Iftar at the Ritz Carlton in DIFC.
Upon entering we were greeted warmly by the staff and directed to the hall which was beautifully decked up with dim lighting and elegant place settings. Within minutes of being seated we were offered our choice of drinks and I opted for the jallab, a popular Middle Eastern drink.
