You may have noticed that my posts have become briefer and more infrequent. I must apologize but its just that work and well, not-work have been keeping me busy.
The upside is that I have a vacation coming up to look forward to. We still have loads more to plan and organize but the countdown has officially begun. And I mean that literally (which you will be able to see if you check out my sidebar). Don’t you just love the build-up to a getaway? But more on that later…
What I wouldn’t give for a place like this to run to every time I need to get away from the world.
Looking at this picture I can just about hear the rustling of the leaves caressed by a gentle breeze. I can feel the dappled sunbeams brush against my skin. I can smell the wild countryside herbs that cover the mossy earth.
The natural world is a blessing indeed.
