15 Thankful Thoughts for 2015

I am thankful…

  1. That even after 3 years of marriage, my husband has not outgrown holding my hand in public
  2. For parents who will never  ever give up looking after you, even when you have a family of your own
  3. For wonderful extended family who will make plans with you for an impromptu international trip
  4. For long-suffering friends who patiently bear my ramblings and willingly enable my fleeting passions
  5. For the bubbling laughter of a baby
  6. For a deaf, abandoned CH kitten who purred his way into my home and my heart
  7. For those who believe their purpose in life is to teach, in word and in deed
  8. For technology that can be brutally divisive but also wondrously unifying
  9. For the kindness of strangers
  10. For my wanderlust and a partner who indulges it
  11. For cloudy days and winter showers
  12. For someone who patiently sat by my side and let me fall apart when I needed to
  13. For the power of words – invaluable to a wallflower like me
  14. For silences that speak louder than words ever could
  15. For narrow escapes and happy endings

Merry Christmas!

May your days be filled with love, light and laughter.

Stay blessed!

  1. I could not help reading your above comment and whyyy would you have second thoughts on this one ? This is such a wonderful post. Being grateful to what we have is one of the best gifts we can give to ourselves and the people in our life 🙂 Great post ❤

    1. Thank you so much hun! :* That means a lot!

Why second thoughts? Because this was the first time I wrote a post that hit so close to home. The points are all vague enough but there are long, emotional stories behind each one. Looking back now I’m glad I hit Publish after all. Reading it now after about 3 months brings back so many warm memories 🙂

Thanks for commenting and bringing this back up in my feed 🙂
