C is for catch-up. Which is what I’m still trying to do with the rest of my TAC classmates.
C is for Challenge
Michele of Heaven and Earth Designs has set up a challenge on the Facebook page. The target is to complete 400 stitches by 28 November 2015. This is just the kick in the pants I needed to get cracking on my WIP. I’ve been diligently trying to put in some work on my selected piece, I Remember Moonlight by Adele Sessler.

It has been really really REALLY slow going because I am stuck in Confetti Central. I seem to be changing colors every one or two stitches. It’s so bad I am tempted to just fudge some of the colors. I’m sure no one would ever notice, right? Right?
C is for Crete
Crete is the largest of the Greek islands and we were blessed to spend a few blissful days there in April 2015. There is so much to say about Greece but I simply cannot do it justice in a TAC post. For now, all I will say is that Crete is an island filled with wonder, a land of beauty beyond imagination.
And that’s all we have time for today folks. See you soon with another update.
Oooh talented eyy? Beautiful hobby. Would love to see the finished work.

Let’s hope so Aaliyah 🙂 I have lots of other ongoing projects that keep calling to me so I tend to get distracted. Not to mention all the projects yet to be started that are begging for some attention 😀

Thank you Noni! 🙂 Crete is definitely worth a visit. For that matter anywhere in Greece 🙂

Cute little cow. I think you are doing great with the letters. Your I Remember Moonlight piece is definitely full of confetti. I would have no idea how to venture from the pattern. But if you don’t, just remember that each stitch is getting you closer to the finish. I have to tell myself that sometimes when I am stitching a color or are I don’t like. “just keep swimming” I tell myself 😉 You will get through. It’s looking great. The pictures of Crete are so beautiful! Looks like a lovely place to take a vacation.

Lol… is that a cow? All this time I thought it was a hippo! 😀 I may need to get my animals straight 😛
The Moonlight is ridiculously full of confetti. At least the area I was working on last week. I think the worst of it is over… for now! And coincidentally ‘Just keep swimming’ is EXACTLY what I was singing to myself when all I wanted to do was abandon this piece 🙂

Haha… O no the sampler just has a handful of animals that appear in different positions with different alphabets. I guess they had a hard time designing an animal for each letter 😉
Thanks Ginny for your encouragement. With such a lovely cheering squad to keep me motivated I may just get a page finish this month 🙂 :*

Adorable bear! The gingham animals are such a great idea for cross stitch. And lovely photos of Crete (one place I have not yet visited in Greece). Hope you are doing well P2N 🙂

Thank you Ramona! 🙂 They are adorable but sneakishly (is that a word?) challenging because of all the color changes in such a small area. Not to mention the backstitch. But the end result is so cute I don’t mind 🙂
You should visit Crete if you get a chance. It is beautiful. Then again which place in Greece isn’t? 🙂
